Medical assistance and teaching children and parents the importance of proper nutrition

Body and Mind

Addressing global child hunger goes beyond just providing meals. Food For Every Child aims to empower children and communities with essential knowledge and access to healthcare services.

We want to equip children and their families with the tools to make informed decisions about their health and nutrition.

Nutrition Education plays an important role in influencing good eating habits in young children.

Learning for Health

Our educational materials are carefully crafted to empower children with the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy choices and lead nourished lives. From engaging visuals to interactive activities, our comprehensive collection of nutrition education resources is designed to make learning about proper nutrition fun, accessible, and impactful.

Medical Assessment

During our feeding program, we have health workers on the ground to conduct initial medical assessments on the children we serve.

We also engage in interviews with the parents or guardians of these children to evaluate their economic circumstances, which help us determine their eligibility for enrollment in our food banks.

We maintain records of each child’s health condition, allowing us to identify and address any underlying or emergent concerns.

Health and Nutrition

Our health workers diligently observe and assess various aspects of a child’s well-being during the initial medical assessments conducted as part of our feeding programs. These assessments aim to identify any underlying health conditions or immediate medical needs, ensuring that appropriate care and interventions can be provided.

Our health workers’ assessments provide valuable insights into the health needs of the children we serve, guiding immediate interventions and ongoing care. In addition to addressing immediate health concerns, we also provide necessary supplements.

By targeting nutritional deficiencies and promoting optimal growth, we strive to break the cycle of malnutrition and its long-term consequences. Through investing in their health today, we empower these children to thrive, succeed, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
